Hi all, yeah I guess it's been awhile that I've have ever post anything in my blog, hope this post will clear things out.
Time is manner, and I've been sorting things out since I've return to the University. Packed schedule, newly given assignment, travel to do field work. This is not a complaint, so just to explain why I'm absent for the time being.
Hope I'll be writing again soon enough, after I've stabilized myself. I'll be visiting and posting randomly from time to time, to ensure this blog is not gonna be dead, so feel free to drop any comments at my cbox chat. I'll reply if I've had the time. This matter is because I've to frequently visit my lecturer's blog, Dr Azmy, my FHH3514 subject. So I'll be logging in my dashboard a couple of time a week to interact with my lecturer blog. Till then!

Local music scenes Give your support!
It's always the same old days, everyday doing same stuff. Kinda getting bored for a while, with nothing other activities to do. As always, last nite, I went to the kedai makan around BBS to hang out. Same faces, so boring! Not even a girl to kacau around the area. =,=
While hanging out, a friend of mine, a music lover came by for a visit. It's been a while since I saw him. So I asked him how's been doing. The conversation took long enough, suddenly he opened an interesting topic. It was about promoting music via online. I was a bit interesting of this topic, so asked him to further explain, what he'd meant.
He said, he's now promoting the music scenes of the Malaysian band. He develop a website so that bands, whom are interested in promoting the demo that they had recorded thru the internet. He said he developed that strategy cause he researched that mostly teenagers hang out in the net. So, he'd hoping that maybe someone might bump into it and are able to promote the website so that more people will join the community.
Here's the link: www.easyclickmusic.com
It's a pretty simple established website actually, I'd like to call it more 'User-Friendly'. They sell merchandise of band whom had register online. For those interested, they just need to register *with a lil amount of fee, which I consider an investment and cheap* and then submit thier demo. You can also submit to them anything which is related to your band, such as t-shirts, ablum and other merchandise. They will then try to promote the merchandise of your band via the net. Yeah, everyone wants free service, but hey, it's worth a try!
Well, hope he succeeds in what he does, he's just trying to promote the music scene of newly borned band so that their voices can be heard. Try browsing the web and promote it to those who are interested. It's a good stuff for those who dunno where to go towards promoting the music. Plus, these are professional musicians, won many international band battles, they know how to deal with this stuff. It's just they don't want the glory themself, they'd like to share it with you. Give it a try! Promote the scenes of musics in Malaysia! Music rawks!

The sun and the moon. A trivia!
Ever wonder why the sun and the moon shines? Ever wonder how they correspond to each other, thus creating the sequence day and night? Ever wonder how old are their age? Ever wonder when they were created?
Introducing, the star. Are they influenced by the sun and moon? How far is the distance between the star and the moon? Ever dreamt of living on the moon? Ever wonder that there are something that lived on the moon? Does the star influenced by the sun?
Introducing, the sky. Does the sky colour differs because of the sun and the moon? How does the sun and the moon makes the sky so meaningful? Ever tried reach to the skies, but fail to grab them? How deep is the skies anyways?
Introducing, the gravity. Does the sun and the moon have effects on the strength of the gravity? Is the gravity of the sun and the moon different? Is there any gravity between the distance of the sun and the moon? Thus gravity, hold this distance?
Introducing, the light. Does the sun and the moon emit the same light radiation? Is the light radiation from the moon stronger than the sun? Are the colours of the light from the sun and the moon different? Does the light from the sun travels longer than the moon?
A trivia, as such may crack your head. Try to answer. No matter what you answer, be proud, as we were given light to brighten our day, gravity to stay put on earth, the skies to decorated the dull day, and the star for we share our hopes and dreams! For those who are in sorrow, look in the sky, ignore the gravity, look for a shining star and float to the air at the speed of light! Imagination sure is fun! =)

Smile! A brighter future awaits!
Got something interesting to tell today! I'll share with all of you guys *and gals* who are lucky enough to read my blog. Here's what triggers me to write this post
Last nite, I hang out with some of my friends at a restaurant named The Castle, somewhere near Jalan Damai in Ampang. We arrived there quite early tonite, around 10 p.m. As usually, we came and were given a table to sit *Duh!* After a while we hang out, I noticed this *cute* girl with her couple of friends came by and sat at a table near us. I was so attracted to her cute lil face, so I stare at her, like, every minute LOL. Yeah, you can say I'm abit gatal that nite =P Suddenly, she noticed me staring at her and gave a smile to me. I smiled back. At that point, I began to wonder. I said to myself, "What could that smile possibly means?" *Of course I said in Bahasa Melayu, FYI!* Could she smile because she likes me? *nahh* Or could it be that she's giving a friendly look? *maybe* Or could it be she's smiling because she's wants to make herself feels better? *possibly*
That made me think for a while, how can a simple smile like that have many expressions? Well, that the unique features of smiling. Did you know that smile is the most complex expression? Basically, a smile is a universal expression of happiness. In some conditions, some smile during depression to cheer themselfs up, and some smile during hard times just to conceal the sadness that they are feeling. Well what ever the conditions are, smiling make you feel better and good! So smile! It wont cost you a dime or risk anything to smile. Don't smile everytime, then people will call you gila! Use at own risk =P
Here some facts bout smiling;
1. Women smile more than men.
2. Smiling releases endorphins that make us feel better.
3. We are all born with the ability to smile, it’s not something we learn from others.
4. A smile is a universal expression of happiness.
5. A smiling person is thought to be a more pleasant, attractive, sociable, sincere and competent than a non-smiling person.
Here are 20 ways to turn that frown upside down.
1. Send some flowers to your partner at work.
2. Compliment a friend or work colleague on their appearance.
3. Donate something to charity.
4. Take a friend out to lunch.
5. Let someone know you miss them.
6. Make a surprise telephone call to your partner at work, just to say hi.
7. Hold a door open for someone walking behind you.
8. Hug your partner for no reason.
9. Leave a joke on a friends answer machine.
10. Send a card to a friend letting them know what a good friend they are.
11. Give up your seat on the train to someone when there aren’t any left.
12. Share your umbrella on a rainy day.
13. Ask a friend if they need anything while you’re out shopping.
14. When it’s raining, plan an indoor picnic with your children.
15. Leave a love letter somewhere where your partner will find it.
16. Send someone an unusual and unexpected gift like sex toys. *Not recommended*
17. Tell your child you’re proud of them.
18. Tell someone you thought about them the other day.
19. Cook a surprise meal for your partner one night, especially if they normally do the cooking.
20. Tell your partner you love them. ever
Did you know it takes only 17 muscles to smile, but 43 to frown. Why waste all that energy frowning when you could just smile.

Just remember, smiling is the easy so don't be stingy. Who knows, maybe someone can get attracted to you! =P

A thing to share, ASCII Arts.
*Sigh* I guess I kinda ran out on ideas of what to write on my blog. I can't think of anything to write for a couple of days now. No avail. So I decided to share something *not so* interesting with you all. It's about ASCII art. Ever heard of it? Yeah, those pictures they draw using words and number.
This ANSCII art is an artistic figure using words to represents a picture. It started back then in the 1966's back at the Bell's computer lab and was inspired by Kenneth Knowlton. During that time, the computer that were created have lack of visual representations to publish a grafic on a computer *Yeah, lame!* There were no graphics card back then, but they still wanted to print a picture on the monitor screen. So, there come the existance of ASCII arts. I admire the creativity, which has become an important lead towards the evolutionary of the computer nowdays. In fact, smileys are also invented based on this ASCII art. Here some examples:
*Edits*
I've posted the pictures on samples of ASCII arts, but it seems not working with the blog. Maybe because of the text alignment. So, I've posted a link on the samples, here
Seem's familiar? Yeah, SMS that we recieve of pictures *Cartoons, Joke, etc.* are inspired by this ANSCII. So try making one yourself. See how creative you can be. It's pretty interesting I guess. If you want more of the pics of ASCII arts, try search the internet. That's all to share, have fun!

Proxies usage. A brief explanation to!
Well, here I am again. In this boring weekends flooded with work and activities, I've decide to spend some time writing a post about Proxies, just to ease my mind abit. I'm sure many of you aren't aware of this term, and this post might clear things up abit
Have you ever encounter a blocked website? Such as when you surf using the IP of a free wireless *usually educational facilities, like, a university wireless wireless* and you try to open your Facebook, or Myspace. After a while you load a page, only to encounter a page showing that the page has been blocked by the Admin of the server *Yeah, its disappointing right?*. well, here's where proxy come in handy. It could bypass the server firewall to make connections towards the server of the block page *Hooray Proxy!*
Basicly, the proxies were invented to enable user to surf anonymously, without leaving a trace of your IP around, which can be a potential loop holes for hackers *Grrr!* to hack your computer. Well, good thing is, your anonymous, but the bad thing is, proxies are kinda slow compare to direct internet connections *Sigh..* But WTH, "As long as I'm able to surf teh web, that'd be fine fer me!"
The concept of proxies, is the proxies server acts like a gateway, which recieve informations or 'requests' from a computer and do the request for them. Then, the information receive by the proxy will be sent back to the computer which request them. This way only the IP of the proxy is revealed, while the proxy of the person which request this will be concealed by the proxy IP itself. Because of this two flow of information, that makes the connection more slower.
Confused? Wiki's here to help you! Click here.
Well I guess this clears abit, credits to Wiki *Yeay!!*
The server of the proxy is not always open, so you need to check it 1st in order to establish a connection, here. There are also proxy server software that can be used to determine the proxies which are active. Note that there's a column which note 'Country'. That show where the proxy server is located. So you might as well know where is the location of your proxy server, because it plays an important role on determining the speed of connections. So might as well check the connections speed of your internet here.
Huh? Hard work? Yeah, abit of hard work I'd call it, but I'd definately to that in order to be able to view those pages that have been block. A lil tips, just remember which country that have the fastest connections, and next time only search for the country active porxy server. That'd makes things easier.
Oh yeah, one more things. Be abit creative, as there is plenty usage of proxy servers. I've found mine *cough*multiple account logins*cough*. Try searching a way to variate this proxy server knowledge. It'd be fun, just that the connections are pretty slow. Patience, patience, patience...

Chat abbreviations, A guide to!
Hiya again, today I wanna write bout chat abbreviation, which many people makes common mistakes on understanding the chat abbreviation used. Well as far as I'm concern, understanding the online chat acronym will make ease of figuring out words that are often used such as E123, LOL, FTW, 404, I2G2BT, AWESO and many more. Heh, suprised to see the *some* words that I mentioned just now? Well, here the licks on how to understand them.
I basically decided to write bout this topic was because the incident of me having a lil chat today with a friend of mine, a Canadian. I saw him using many abbreviations that I'm not familiar of. I keep mistaking *or rather lost* for the words that he had used. To clear the doubt in my mind, I boldly ask him a question, "Mind asking a question mate? Are this chat abbreviation are solely made by you or these terms are common and are use widely?". He simply answered "LOL Sats *that my name in chat*, these are all freaking widely used by us man, call that an international language now dude! How ya outta spam if yer not familiar with teh words? Go ride a poneh baybeh!" Well, riding a poneh sucks so I decided to do abit research, and I found this.
Quite suprising thou, I didn't knew there were this much abbreviations that are use, mostly are use wrongly by us Malaysians *I've seen once, a dimwit used lol to express the word lor*. I find this page very interesting as I can now make a code version of my secret message *Hey gal, ImL. Go search teh page for teh answers LOL*. After this, I hope people reading this post try to spread this out, as many people aren't aware of this topic. Whoah? Teh abbreviations looks ugleh? Well, screw teh looks for now, as these term are invented as a language of communication.
Oh yeah, don't mind teh slangs that I used, those are commonly used too. Those are way much simpler to understand than teh abbreviations =P Well, time to ride a poneh now! Yeeeehaaawww!!
